The Pacific Northwest is Riding a Nine-Day Streak Toward a Perfect Weekend
While the Deep South deals with severe thunderstorms and the Rockies dig out of heavy, late-season snow, the Pacific Northwest is just quietly enjoying some of the best weather in the country.
If you live in western Washington, you already know this. Cities like Marysville, Everett, and Sammamish are currently riding an impressive nine-day streak of highly comfortable conditions. And the good news is that the pattern is not breaking anytime soon.

Today is another Beautiful day for the region. Spokane is pulling an 86.3 score, and Seattle is sitting at a solid 76.9. Highs are reaching the mid-70s with incredibly crisp dewpoints in the 40s. If you are heading to the Mariners game against the Braves tonight in Seattle, you can expect gorgeous baseball weather. Just keep in mind that the UV index is creeping up to 7.0 today, so sunscreen is a good idea for any midday outdoor plans.
As we head into Thursday and Friday, that dry, stable air spreads eastward. This gives places like Oklahoma City, Kansas City, and Memphis their own taste of Beautiful weather, featuring highs in the low 70s and zero mugginess.
But the real standout is what happens back out West on Saturday.

The ridge of high pressure over the West Coast peaks this weekend, unlocking the elusive "Perfect" category on our map. Portland, Oregon, and Sacramento, California, are both scoring above an 84 out of 100. We are talking about highs near 79 degrees, dewpoints in the upper 40s, and light breezes around 7 mph. It is the exact kind of weather you want for a Saturday morning trailhead or a long patio lunch.
The rest of the country will see plenty of fair weather this weekend, but the West Coast is truly holding the jackpot. You can check the daily breakdown for your hometown on our Nice Weather outlook page to see exactly when the best conditions arrive in your neighborhood.
