Perfect Weather Hits The East Coast While California Stays Beautiful
The Mid-Atlantic is seeing perfect weather for Sunday baseball, while California and the West Coast lock in beautiful conditions for the rest of the week.

The East Coast's Perfect Weekend Wraps Up While California Plays the Long Game
Y'all, while the middle of the country is dealing with an incredibly active and dangerous severe weather setup today, the coasts are experiencing a completely different reality. If you are anywhere near the I-95 corridor or out West, you have some truly exceptional weather to work with this week.
We are seeing a tale of two coasts on the Nice Weather outlook page. The East Coast is peaking right now, while the West Coast is settling in for a long run of great spring weather.
Perfect Baseball Weather in the East
For Sunday and Monday, the Mid-Atlantic and southern Northeast are holding onto the absolute highest tier on our nice weather scale. We are talking about "Perfect" conditions.
This setup is being driven by a strong Bermuda High parked offshore. It is acting like a shield, pumping in dry air, keeping the skies clear, and keeping rain chances at a flat one percent. If you are heading to Queens for the Yankees at Mets game or down to D.C. to watch the Orioles play the Nationals this afternoon, the weather could not be better.

Coastal areas will see highs hovering right around 70 degrees today with very comfortable humidity. Inland cities like Philadelphia and Richmond will be a bit warmer, pushing into the upper 70s and low 80s. The only real caveat for today and tomorrow is the sun. The UV index is up over 8.0 across the region, so sunscreen is an absolute must if you are sitting in the bleachers or spending the afternoon on a patio.
California Plays the Long Game
As we get into Tuesday and Wednesday, the East Coast will start to see more cloud cover and humidity return. But out West, the weather is just getting started.
A ridge of high pressure building over the Intermountain West is going to lock in "Beautiful" conditions for California and the Desert Southwest from Tuesday straight through next weekend.

Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Jose are basically taking up permanent residence at the top of our daily rankings this week. Even today, folks running the Bay to Breakers race in San Francisco are getting a gorgeous day for it, with completely dry skies and comfortable temperatures.
By Thursday and Friday, this zone of beautiful weather will expand to include places like Phoenix and Las Vegas. You can expect bone-dry humidity and highs in the 70s and 80s. Just keep in mind that the dry air and breezy conditions are keeping fire danger elevated in the Southwest, so be mindful if you are camping or hitting the trailheads.
A Quiet Streak in Kentucky
Before we wrap up, I have to give a quick shoutout to the Ohio Valley. While the coasts get all the attention, Lexington, Kentucky, is quietly sitting on an 11-day streak of nice weather. Bowling Green is right behind them with 10 days of their own.
It has been a remarkably pleasant and quiet run for that part of the country. Enjoy it today if you are in the area, because that stalled front out in the Plains will eventually push east and bring some scattered rain chances back to the region by the middle of the week.
