Perfect Weather Hits the Northeast and Pacific Northwest
Upstate New York and New England enjoy a perfect Tuesday, while Seattle and the Pacific Northwest lock in flawless weather for Wednesday.

A Pristine Tuesday in the Northeast, and the Pacific Northwest Takes Wednesday's Crown
It has been a heavy week for a lot of folks down South. With catastrophic flooding in Mississippi and severe storms rolling through Texas, my thoughts are with everyone managing the rough side of the forecast. But if you are lucky enough to be out of the storm track, there are some truly spectacular pockets of weather setting up across the country this week.
From a crisp, dry airmass over the Northeast to a flawless stretch of sunshine heading for the Pacific Northwest, here is a look at where the weather is actually working in your favor.
Upstate New York and New England Shine Today
Returning to work after a holiday weekend is always a little easier when the weather looks like this. A very dry airmass has settled over the central Northeast and Mid-Atlantic today, dropping humidity and keeping the skies mostly clear.
We are seeing a massive zone of "Perfect" and "Beautiful" conditions stretching from Syracuse, New York, straight across into Massachusetts. Utica is sitting in the Perfect category with highly comfortable dewpoints in the 50s and refreshing breezes under 10 mph. If you are in Saratoga Springs prepping for next week's Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, or just grabbing lunch on a patio in Springfield, Massachusetts, you have top-tier weather today.

The only minor catch keeping some of these spots from hitting our absolute highest "Pristine" rating is the sun intensity. The UV index is peaking around 7.3 today, so make sure to grab the sunscreen if you are spending the afternoon outside.
The Pacific Northwest Takes Wednesday
By tomorrow, the best weather in the entire country shifts out to the Pacific Northwest. Strong high pressure is locking in clear skies and crisp air for Washington and Oregon.
Seattle, Olympia, and Mount Vernon are all hitting that rare "Perfect" tier with massive scores of 92.0 out of 100. We are talking high temperatures right around 70 degrees, dewpoints in the low 50s, and essentially zero chance of rain. Cloud cover is forecast at a mere 5 percent. It is the exact kind of day you want for a hike, a bike ride, or just walking to grab a coffee in the morning.

A Refreshing Thursday for the Ohio Valley
Looking ahead to Thursday, a post-frontal cool-down drops into the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley. This brings a completely different flavor of nice weather. Cities like Akron, Ohio, and Erie, Pennsylvania, will wake up to crisp morning lows in the 40s and afternoon highs near 60 degrees.
It will feel incredibly refreshing, driven by a dry airmass that drops humidity to near zero impact. With precipitation chances sitting at just 2 percent, it is an ideal window for any outdoor plans you have been putting off.
As we head toward the weekend, the Weather Prediction Center is tracking a broad ridge of high pressure building over the central United States. That is going to support a widespread zone of "Beautiful" weather across the Plains and Midwest from Friday through Sunday. We will keep tracking those weekend trends as they get closer, but you can always check exactly how your hometown is scoring on our Nice Weather outlook page.
Stay safe, enjoy the sunshine where you have it, and we will talk again soon.
