RHY Nice Weather Outlook Day 1

If you are in Michigan, Ohio, or western New York today, you have some of the best weather in the entire country. We are seeing top-tier Beautiful category ratings centered right over cities like Detroit, Cleveland, and Buffalo.

The data is showing an exceptionally dry airmass today. Dewpoints are sitting in the crisp low to mid-50s, which means the humidity is practically non-existent. With high temperatures comfortably hovering in the 70s to low 80s, this is exactly what you want for a Sunday afternoon. If you are heading out to Comerica Park to watch the Mariners take on the Tigers in Detroit, the weather could not be better. Just keep in mind that the UV index is running high today, so you will definitely want sunscreen if you are sitting in the bleachers.

The Comfort Moves East on Monday

RHY Nice Weather Outlook Day 2

By Monday, that refreshing high pressure shifts eastward, delivering a flawless start to the workweek for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Upstate New York is going to dominate the top city rankings tomorrow. Rochester, Syracuse, and Albany are all looking at near-perfect scores. You can expect zero rain, abundant sunshine, and high temperatures in the low to mid-70s. The humidity stays incredibly low, making it a great day for a long walk or taking your lunch break outside. Coastal areas of New England will even get a gentle, cooling onshore breeze by the afternoon.

California Keeps the Streak Alive

We cannot talk about nice weather without checking in on the West Coast. Southern California is holding onto an impressive 28-day streak of nice weather in places like Lancaster, Palmdale, and Chino Hills.

By Tuesday, the best weather in the country will actually slide up into interior California. Sacramento and San Jose are forecast to hit the Beautiful category, with highs in the low to mid-80s and completely dry skies. It is great weather for getting out on a trailhead, but again, the UV index will be over 8, so sun protection is a must.

Enjoy this comfortable air while you can. The Weather Prediction Center is already watching a significant heat wave that will start building across the central United States by midweek. Get outside, open the windows, and have a great Sunday, y'all!
